Older brick homes and mature trees

Many East Grand Rapids homes are older, and brick is common. Brick looks right with warm white lights. Ours are commercial-grade warm white C9 LEDs, clip-mounted, so nothing is nailed, stapled or glued to your brick, trim or roof.

Older homes often have dormers, chimneys and several roof planes. At the design visit we walk the property, measure every run and photograph the house. You then get a photo mockup of your home lit up and one all-inclusive price. Everyday Roofline covers up to 100 feet of front roofline.

Lot sizes here vary, from compact city lots to larger properties near the water. On a compact lot, a clean roofline, a lit door with wreath and garland, and a few well-placed trees do the most. On a larger lot there is room to do more, and Estate is built for that.

Reeds Lake, big trees and lake-effect snow

Homes near Reeds Lake may see wind across the water, and the Grand Rapids area gets lake-effect snow off Lake Michigan. Every Roofline job includes a service call during the season, and Signature Estate includes maintenance visits. If snow or wind moves a run, we come back.

Mature trees are part of what makes these streets. Signature Estate covers the whole property: rooflines, tree canopy and trunk wraps, lit wreaths and garland, and pathway accents. We draw the design up on site. We light trees on your property, so tell us at the visit which ones are yours.

If your house faces Reeds Lake, tell us which side you see most. The street side and the water side can both be planned.

Timing and booking in East Grand Rapids

Installs run early November to mid-December, and takedown is in January. We are a small crew with a short list of homes, so book early. The design visit is $150, credited toward your install, and it is confirmed once the deposit is paid.

Booking takes 50% down. The balance is due the day the display is lit. We do not do electrical work. We use your existing exterior outlets, and we will say at the visit if one is needed. Call Brad and Josh at 262-300-7729.

You rent the display. We own the lights, so there is nothing to buy or store. A 50% deposit at booking holds your install date, and the balance is due the day your display is lit.

• Install. Early November to mid-December, on clips, cords tucked away, timer set.
• The season. A bulb out or a run shifted? Call or text and we come back.
• January. Josh and the crew take it all down, pack it and store it for next year.
