Christmas light installation in Hinsdale

Hinsdale has older homes from the 1800s alongside newer ones, and mature trees are common on its streets. It sits west of Chicago, away from the lake, so lake gusts are not the main worry. Warnimont & Wolfe owns the lights, installs them in November, looks after them in season and takes them down in January. Brad is a Navy veteran, and he and Josh keep a short list of homes each season.

Older homes, newer homes, one plan for each

The oldest houses in Hinsdale date to the 1800s, and the village has a historic downtown district. Older homes often carry more roof detail: dormers, chimneys, porch roofs and steep gables. Newer houses often have a broad, simple front. Either way, we measure every run at the design visit and photograph the house.

You get a photo mockup of your own home lit up before you book. Then you get one all-inclusive price and a one-page agreement. Everyday Roofline covers up to 100 feet of front roofline, with commercial-grade warm white C9 LEDs, clip-mounted. Nothing is nailed, stapled or glued to your house.

Mature trees, front walks and the Estate package

A tall oak or maple in the front yard can carry the whole look of a display, or it can be a dark gap. Signature Estate lights the whole property, including tree canopy and trunk wraps. It also covers lit wreaths and garland and pathway accents. We draw the plan up on site, and we make maintenance visits through the season.

Wherever people walk or drive past, the street-facing side of your home is what counts. We build the plan around that side first, then add the rest if you want it. A lit front door with wreath and garland, and a lit walk to it, tell neighbors the house is ready for the holidays.

Outlets, timing and booking

Older Hinsdale houses may have few exterior outlets, and some sit in odd places. We do not do electrical work. We use the exterior outlets you already have, and we will say at the design visit if one is needed. Then you can have it added before our November install.

Installs run early November to mid-December, with takedown in January. The design visit is $150, credited toward your install, and it is confirmed once the deposit is paid. Booking takes 50% down, and the balance is due the day the display is lit. Call 262-300-7729.

How it works

Questions from Hinsdale homeowners

Can you light a Hinsdale home with a lot of roof detail?

That is what the design visit is for. We walk the property, measure every run, photograph the house and show you a photo mockup. Everyday Roofline covers up to 100 feet of front roofline. Heavy detail or more footage may fit Signature Estate better.

Can you wrap the big trees in my yard?

Tree canopy and trunk wraps are part of Signature Estate. We see each tree on site before we price it, so the number you get is all-inclusive. We light trees on your property, so point out which ones are yours at the design visit.

When are the lights up, and who takes them down?

Installs run from early November to mid-December. We come back for a service call or maintenance visits during the season. We take everything down in January and store it. You never box up or store a single strand.
